This work was commissioned especially for the Music and Meditation Podcast on BBC Sounds. It accompanies a spoken meditation by yoga and meditation teacher Maude Hirst. The piece was recorded by the BBC Singers and string trio from the BBC Concert Orchestra and conducted by David Hill at Maida Vale Studios in November 2022. The podcast is produced by Charlotte Parr. This piece has been played on BBC Radio 3 on the Essential Classics and In Tune shows and the episode 'Let it go' continues to be available on BBC Sounds, Spotify, and Apple Music.
